Vic Thompkins & VTO,
On Behalf of the City of Seminole and the Music in the Park Committee, I would like to express my most sincere appreciation for your Musical contributions and efforts in the 2008 Music in the Park series.  This year's series set new attendance records and was enjoyed by many of our residents.  With your assistance, the City was able to provide quality musical entertainment in a beautiful setting at Seminole City Park.  You were an integral part of this successful community event.

Your performance in this event directly contributed to a warm family atmosphere amongst six great nights of live music.  It is truly an honor that such high quality musicians grace our park.  We have received numerous compliments regarding the 12th Annual "Music in the Park" series.

Once again, please accept my heartfelt appreciation for your interest in the City and my warmest regards to you during the upcoming holiday season.

Sincerely,

Duane Crandall

Vic and the girls had a great time at the Cloverleaf Farms dance for March.  It's always good to spend time with good friends.

Valentines Day at the Brooksville Bandshell Bash.  Every one had a great time and thanks to Vic & Vto enjoyed some great music.

New Years Eve at the Elks'!  What a great time, the dance floor stayed full all evening right to the last song.  Look forward to returning  for 2008 since we have been asked to return.

An evening at Silverthorn Country Club with great music, great food and everyone having a great time.  What more could you ask for.   The evening was Fabulous!

The evening at the Elk's Lodge in Brooksville on June 2nd was a great success.  The band was great and Vic and Pam did an awesome job.

Floral City Strawberry Festival, March 4th, 2007.  This years entertainment promised to be better than ever!  Sunday featured "Vic Thompkins and the VTO Band".  Another successful outing for
VTO, promise of dates for next year already in the works!

February 10th’s Bandshell Bash in Brooksville turned out to be a great success in spite of the weather turning cool for the outdoor event.  Vic’s fans hung in there till the end and were not disappointed.

October’s show at Cloverleaf was fantastic.  Vic and the Girls were at their best as well as the band.  Great vocals and music!

If you missed the show at Stage West in Spring Hill, Florida on Sunday, June 25th, you missed a great one!  What a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon.  You wouldn’t see any better in Vegas. Vic and the Girls were fabulous and the band was exceptional.

What a show Vic and VTO did for the residents at the Cloverleaf Farms April 23rd!  They loved him so much he is coming back in October.

You will not be disappointed with the band; they are 100% professional all the way.  The vocals of Vic Thompkins are compared to non other than Elvis and Engelbert when he does renditions of
their songs.  He can also belt out your favorite Country or Pop with ease.  You can’t help but enjoy his smooth strong voice.   C.G.

If you like to listen to good music then Vic Thompkins is one cd you should have.  I have been listening to songs done by Vic for some years now and have never been disappointed in his performance.  Some of my favorite songs were put out some years ago by Vic and both received great airplay on WSFT radio here in Thomaston.  We had “The Only Thing Going Was You” and “Dixie Without the USA” both in Heavy rotation for some time.  Most recently we
caught up with Vic again after some years and attended a performance Vic did at The Schrine Auditorium in Atlanta.  He was exceptionally great as well as his band and backup singers.  I have
never attended a better performance than put on by Vic Thompkins and his band VTO.  We continue to play Vic’s latest recordings now at WTGA in Thomaston.  We are an Adult Contemporary station and Vic’s music fits in well with what we play.  When at WSFT we
were a Country station and his music was perfect for that.  My point is, that Vic can sing anything from Country to Pop and all in between just give him a mic and let him sing.  Go Vic!  Keep up the good work.
